OEX
- AUV MISSION PLAN FOR
ADVERSE WEATHER EXPERIMENT APRIL 2000
Four approximately three-hour consecutive surveys in a horizontal and vertical plane are planned. Box pattern surveys will be conducted in the horizontal plane at 10 m depth over a 1km x 450 m region, where the nominal water depth is 20 m. The horizontal plane survey will be followed by one in a vertical plane in the center of the region. Details of the survey patterns are described below. A total of 10 GPS fixes per 3-hour survey will be conducted.
