Welcome to the Center For Infrastructure And Constructed Facilities

      The recent and on going research efforts at the center are focused on infrastructure and constructed facilities sponsored by the state, federal and private agencies. The areas of interest include strength determination of existing bridges, repair and retrofitting, high strength composites applications to new and existing structurally deficient structures, artificial intelligence applications to engineering structures (analysis and design), adaptive control, smart materials and structures. The research projects are being carried out by faculty researchers involving interdisciplinary areas such as Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.
